My partner and I had been shopping around for a quality gaming table for a while. Not only do we both play DnD, but we have been collecting boardgames for years. Some of the games we love are legacy games, require extensive set up, or have a million little pieces that end up under the couch or in between cushions. Our little coffee table just wasn't cutting it! A game table was at the top of our wish-list.
In addition to prioritizing a game table, we wanted something that was practical, durable, and felt appropriate for our current lifestyle. Investing in an solid wood heirloom piece that was made in USA and could dual as a dining table was the goal, but that only made our search much more difficult.
We stumbled on Uniquely Geek after watching an episode of SMOSH, of whom noted their new gaming table had been made by UG. After researching UG and their diverse portfolio for table customization, we knew they were the perfect company to build our table.
From start to finish, we were involved in the development of our Marquess table. Robert was extremely responsive and provided routine updates on where it was in the build process. It made the experience very personable and exciting.
We decided to get a counter height Marquess with padauk top with a wenge pedestal. At its longest width, 5.5 ft.
The end product is absolutely beautiful - the quality and craftsmanship are beyond what we had initially imagined. This table is also hefty - its incredibly sturdy, and will likely outlive us.
And that padauk table top - stunning!
We can't recommend Uniquely Geek enough. The level of care they put into their craft is evident in how they treat their customers, and the quality gaming tables they produce.

I've now had my Marquess table for almost a year. The Uniquely Geek staff were great to work with, and designing the table to suit my preferences was a lot of fun!
I'd been shopping for a new dining table for years and not finding I liked+suited my space. Once I discovered gaming tables were a thing, I was sold, and it was a matter of choosing the company and design. Though Uniquely Geek didn't have a Hex table available at the time, I chose them for two primary reasons - the quality of the work is apparent with little research, and their willingness to customize.
My table is knotty alder, 60" point to point, and I customized the base with a 3-post version of the Modern Trestle Table.
The design process with Robert was a blast. All the options available were clearly explained, and samples sent back and forth. Robert and the rest of the team were responsive to my many questions. Anytime they didn't know an answer right away, I'd get a researched answer within a day or two.
As the table went into production, I received periodic pictures and updates.
This is a company that takes pride in their products, and in my opinion, you can't go wrong by choosing them.

Absolutely echo everything the others have said. From the order process, build process, delivery, product quality, product support... Everything was perfect. I absolutely recommend making the investment.
One fun note: the tongue and groove construction of the top makes it surprisingly water resistant. We've had a few accidental spills and nothing had made it into the main chamber yet.
